KB Securities Vietnam (KBSV) launched the "Contribute to a green Vietnam" program in 2025 to make tangible contributions to environmental protection initiatives and sustainable development. The program involves planting 2,500 trees in two high-ecological-value forest areas: Cuc Phuong National Park (Ninh Binh) and Spring Forest (Can Tho).

After the success of the forest planting expedition in Ben En-Thanh Hoa in 2023, KBSV has been adamantly pursuing this activity for many years as part of the ESG campaign series.
In order to help restore the degraded woods in Vietnam, KBSV launched the "Contribute to a Green Vietnam" program in 2023, beginning with 2,000 trees in Ben En.  Every tree planted serves as a home for thousands of forest animals in addition to conserving soil and water.

In early August, the journey continued at Cuc Phuong National Park - Vietnam's first national forest. Here, KB Securities Vietnam cooperated with Gaia Nature Conservation Center to plant 1,000 ebony and sour-ear trees. These are three species that grow well, form a canopy quickly, are resistant to pests and diseases, and contribute to improving soil quality and water resources. Not only that, they are also a natural food source and habitat for rare species typical of Cuc Phuong such as white-cheeked langurs, flying squirrels, ow civets, and box turtles - creatures that need each patch of forest to be restored to survive.

Next, by the end of 2025, KBSV will plant 1,500 more Melaleuca trees in the Spring Forest - Can Tho, with the desire to join hands to revive the wetland ecosystem in the Southwest region, where there are currently 5 hectares of depleted Melaleuca forests that need urgent restoration. Planting Melaleuca here will help restore the landscape and unique ecosystem (primary Melaleuca forests), supporting local biodiversity.
More than 20 KBSV staff personally sowed green shoots into the forest soil, each individual participating in the campaign brought back their own emotions: seeing with their own eyes the roots clinging to the soil, the leaves reaching up to the sky, to understand that nature can only truly revive when humans act promptly.
Sharing at the forest planting activity in Cuc Phuong, Mr. Park Kang Hyun said: “Cuc Phuong National Park is one of the most precious primeval forests in Vietnam. The journey of “Contributing to Green Vietnam” here has a great meaning for us. I believe that each tree planted today is not simply an act for nature, but also a testament to social responsibility, towards a green future and sustainable development - something that KB Securities Vietnam always steadfastly pursues."

Going forward, KBSV will continue to integrate ESG into every decision – from business strategy to operations. Green initiatives will continue to be initiated: expanding new plantations, promoting “paperless” programs, sponsoring sustainable community projects, and continuing to spread more action programs for nature.
