KB Securities Vietnam was honored in the Top 100 Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam in 2023

The ceremony to announce and honor Sustainable Enterprises in 2023 was organized by VCCI, the Central Economic Commission, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. This annual activity motivates Sustainable Development Enterprises to ensure adequate growth and demonstrate responsibility towards the Environment and Society. After eight years of implementation, the program has attracted many businesses operating in different fields nationwide to apply to participate.

 

Overcoming strict screening criteria, KB Securities Vietnam (KBSV), for the first time, entered the Top 100 Sustainable Development Enterprises in 2023. To achieve this recognition, KBSV has fully met the CSI number of sustainable enterprises in 2023 with 130 indicators in 4 areas: Sustainable Development Results Index, Governance Index, Environmental Index, and Labor - Social Index.

With 15 years of companionship with the Vietnamese stock market, in addition to economic growth efforts, KB Vietnam Securities has always adhered to a sustainable development strategy. Starting in 2022, to standardize sustainable development activities within the business, KBSV applies a set of ESG (Environment - Social - Governance) standards to measure factors related to sustainable development. And the impact of companies on the community.

 

Prominent among them are long-term programs such as scholarship funding, creating conditions for university students to experience and practice, Building schools and libraries for highland areas that do not have enough facilities, and visiting and giving gifts to children in difficult circumstances being treated at hospitals. Recently, KBSV's "Contribute to a Green Vietnam" campaign to green many forests in Vietnam made a big splash when it called on hundreds of people to participate on social networks, resulting in 2,000 trees. Newly planted in Ben En National Park, Thanh Hoa.

Being in the Top 100 Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam in 2023 also clearly reflects KBSV's efforts to join the business community to promote sustainable development in Vietnam.
